Our Mission

Our mission is to provide high quality, patient-centered eye care with compassion, empathy and respect.  We take pride in knowing our patients and make every effort to ensure a pleasant experience. We do not take your time for granted and strive to keep the office running on schedule. As delivering healthcare has become more challenging in the modern era of computers and coding, we are committed to maintaining the human connection throughout the process. We strive to accommodate urgent consultations and appointments.

LASIK is an excellent refractive surgery option that corrects common vision problems such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism. At Putnoi Eye Care, we are proud to offer LASIK to those who qualify as candidates.
During LASIK, Dr. Ko uses a specialized laser to reshape the cornea, allowing light to focus properly on the retina and improve vision. At Putnoi Eye Care, we utilize advanced technology and equipment to ensure the safety and efficacy of the procedure. Dr. Ko provides personalized care and guidance to patients before, during, and after the LASIK surgery, ensuring a smooth and successful outcome.

LASIK Eye Surgery
The lens in the eye can become cloudy and hard, a condition known as a cataract.  Cataracts can develop from normal aging, from an eye injury, or if you have taken certain medications (steroids).  Cataracts may cause blurred vision, dulled vision, sensitivity to light and glare, and/or ghost images.
If the cataract changes vision to the point that it interferes with your daily life, the cataract may need to be removed.  Surgery, with either ultrasound phacoemulsification or femtosecond laser, is the only way to remove a cataract.

Symptoms of Dry Eye can be very uncomfortable and make simple tasks such as reading, driving, using a computer or watching TV painful and strenuous. Dry eye occurs when the quantity and/or quality of tears fails to keep the surface of the eye adequately lubricated. Experts estimate that dry eye affects millions of adults in the United States.  If you are experiencing symptoms such as dryness, tearing, redness, grittiness or burning you may have dry eye or meibomian gland dysfunction. Contact our office to schedule a consultation to determine the cause and recommended treatment options like Lipiflow.

Comprehensive Eye Care
Glaucoma is one of the leading causes of blindness in America, but can often go unnoticed in its earliest stages because there may be no noticeable symptoms. Regular eye exams are the best way to detect signs of the disease before serious damage has been done to your eyesight. While there is no cure for glaucoma, if detected early, your vision can often be preserved, and further damage can be prevented.
